The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
Our client, a renowned name in the aerospace MRO sector, is seeking a dedicated B2 Licensed Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity where you will utilise your extensive experience in aircraft maintenance to deliver both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in line with customers' demands.
Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out maintenance and inspection of aircraft in accordance with established procedures
Leading and mentoring a team of Technicians and Mechanics in Base Maintenance tasks
Ensuring accurate completion of maintenance documentation
Communicating maintenance requirements and issues to Bay Manager and Production Planners
Ensuring proper storage and labelling of aircraft components
Maintaining engineering standards and adherence to Health & Safety procedures
Recommending improvements to working conditions, practices, and procedures to enhance efficiency
Upholding the company's values and mentoring junior staff
Job Requirements:
Significant experience in aircraft maintenance, particularly in Base Maintenance
Ability to use recognised aircraft documentation efficiently
Strong skills in aircraft systems, rigging, component replacement, and modifications
Knowledgeable in structural assessment and repairs
In-depth understanding of various aircraft systems
Qualifications and Training:
B2 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer's License, either UK CAA AML or EASA AML issued pre or post 31.12.20
Preference for candidates with Boeing 737 type ratings (CL/NG/MAX), although type rating courses may be available for suitable candidates without these ratings
