Job Title: Secondary Cover Supervisor
Location: North Petherton & Bridgwater
Start Date: Immediate / As soon as possible
Salary: £120 – £140 per day (depending on experience)
Working Pattern: Full-time

TeacherActive is currently seeking a reliable and confident Secondary Cover Supervisor to work full-time in supportive secondary schools across North Petherton and Bridgwater.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for stability, routine, and valuable classroom leadership experience. Full training and ongoing support will be provided to help you feel confident and successful in the role.

The role:

Supervising whole classes during teacher absence
Delivering pre-planned lessons
Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
Working across a range of subjects at KS3–KS4
Supporting students to stay on task and engaged
This role could be ideal if you:

Have experience working in a secondary school or with young people
Are confident supervising whole classes
Are available to work full-time
Have strong behaviour management and communication skills
Are adaptable, reliable, and proactive
