The Role
As a Teacher of Science, you will:
Deliver engaging and inspiring Science lessons across KS3 and GCSE.
Encourage pupils to develop a deeper understanding of scientific concepts and real-world applications.
Plan and deliver creative lessons that cater for students of varying abilities.
Monitor, assess and track student progress effectively.
Differentiate learning to ensure every pupil can achieve their full potential.
Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
Maintain high standards of behaviour, engagement and achievement.
Support students in their preparation for internal assessments and GCSE examinations.
Contribute positively to the ongoing success of the Science department.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Has experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting.
Possesses strong subject knowledge across KS3 and GCSE Science.
Delivers engaging lessons that motivate and challenge students.
Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
Has excellent communication and organisational abilities.
Is committed to raising standards and improving outcomes for all learners.
Works effectively within a collaborative department team.
Has a genuine passion for Science education and student success.
