The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

The Role
The main purpose of this role is to deliver exceptional service to both internal and external customers within commercial guidelines. You will be responsible for processing customer orders, coordinating with key stakeholders, and ensuring smooth delivery of goods in line with agreed service levels.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately process all customer orders using the company's order management system
Manage a variety of orders including domestic, European and export
Maintain clear and proactive communication with customers regarding order progress and delivery updates
Work closely with sales, production teams, and logistics providers to ensure timely and complete deliveries
Coordinate documentation to support order fulfilment and minimise business risk
Handle customer complaints and service issues, ensuring a full resolution and feedback process
Maintain and update customer records and databases to ensure accuracy
Ensure all compliance documentation, including HMRC approvals, is correctly recorded
Liaise with hauliers to arrange bookings and raise required paperwork
Provide support across the wider customer service team where required
About You
Proven experience within customer service and/or logistics
Strong understanding of Order to Cash (OTC) processes, ideally using SAP
Export experience would be advantageous
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage customer expectations effectively
Strong team player with a proactive and flexible approach
Quick learner with the ability to use initiative
Additional language skills would be beneficial
