Job Title
Pipefitter – NAECI Grade 5 (Nuclear Projects)
Summary
We’re seeking experienced Pipefitters for long-term work on major nuclear projects at Sellafield in Barrow. This is a great opportunity for skilled tradespeople who want to work on highly regulated projects and benefit from excellent NAECI rates, regular bonuses, and allowances.

Salary

Basic Rate: £23.45 per hour (NAECI Grade 5)
Bonuses (per hour):
Individual Bonus: £1.05 (weekly)
Sellafield Site-Wide Bonus: £0.37 (weekly)
Individual Contractor Workforce Bonus: £0.30 (paid every 4–5 weeks)
Sellafield Site-Wide Bonus: £0.35 (paid every 4–5 weeks)
Retention Bonus: £0.30 (every 13 weeks)
Overtime:
Rate 1: £32.83 per hour
Rate 2: £42.21 per hour
(All rates increase significantly in January 2027.)
Location and Working Pattern

Barrow (Sellafield site) – long-term project with lodge and travel allowances for non-local workers.
Client Overview

Our client is a major contractor delivering long-term projects at Sellafield in accordance with the NAECI Working Rule Agreement.
Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality pipefitting fabrication and site installation.
Work in compliance with nuclear safety requirements and NAECI standards.
Read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
Complete inspections and maintenance of pipe systems.
Cooperate positively with team members and site staff.Must-have Requirements

NVQ Level 3 in Pipefitting Fabrication and Site Installation.
Valid CCSNG ACE card.
CSCS card.Nice-to-have Skills

IOSH Working Safely (training available if not held).
Previous experience within nuclear or highly regulated environments.
Understanding of NAECI agreement standards.Benefits
