On Behalf of Arup, we are looking for a Workplace Experience Assistant, for an initial 6 month contract based in Leeds.

Purpose of the role

We're looking for a Workplace Experience Assistant to provide a professional and welcoming front of house service within Arup's Leeds office. This is a customer-facing role where you'll ensure visitors, clients and colleagues receive an excellent first impression while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of reception and workplace operations. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity with the potential to become permanent after the initial six-month contract.

What you'll do

Welcome visitors, clients and colleagues in a friendly and professional manner.
Manage the reception area, ensuring it is organised, presentable and well maintained.
Handle incoming calls, emails and general front of house enquiries.
Support workplace administration and day-to-day office operations.
Coordinate visitor sign-in procedures and maintain accurate records.
Provide administrative support to the wider team as required.
Ensure meeting rooms and shared spaces are prepared and ready for use.
Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a positive and professional environment.
Assist with general workplace and facilities-related tasks to support the smooth running of the office.The Skills you'll need

Previous experience in a reception, front of house, workplace experience or administrative role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A professional, approachable and customer-focused manner.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workload.
Confidence using Microsoft Office and general IT systems.
High attention to detail and the ability to work accurately.
A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, flexible and able to work on site Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm
