Hours: Wednesday to Friday, 8:00am - 2:00pm (18 hours per week)
Pay: £18.00 - £19.00 per hour
Contract: Temporary with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and enthusiastic Catering Manager to join a friendly school on the Wirral. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for delivering high-quality school meals while leading a small catering team in a positive and supportive environment. There may also be potential for further hours where required.
The Role
Manage the day-to-day running of the school kitchen
Prepare and serve nutritious, high-quality meals
Lead, motivate and support the catering team
Ensure food hygiene, health & safety, and allergen standards are maintained
Manage stock control, ordering and kitchen budgets
Maintain a clean, organised and compliant kitchen
About You
Previous experience managing a catering operation, ideally within a school, education or contract catering environment
Food Hygiene Level 3 (or willingness to obtain)
Strong organisational and leadership skills
A positive, hands-on approach with excellent communication skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable (or willingness to obtain one)APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR SPENCER CLARKE GROUP
