We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Plasma Operator to join our manufacturing team. The Plasma Operator will operate and monitor plasma cutting equipment, inspect finished parts, and ensure production meets quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
* Operate plasma cutting machines and related equipment safely and efficiently.
* Load and position materials according to job specifications.
* Set machine parameters and make adjustments as needed.
* Monitor cutting operations and troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
* Inspect finished parts for accuracy, quality, and proper dimensions.
* Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area.
* Perform routine machine maintenance and report equipment problems.
* Follow company safety procedures and production standards.
* Complete production records and other required documentation.
Qualifications
* Previous experience operating plasma cutting equipment preferred.
* Manufacturing or fabrication experience is a plus.
* Ability to read basic blueprints or technical drawings.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Ability to use basic measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, or gauges.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
* Ability to safely lift and move materials as required.
