The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
Unify are delighted to be recruiting for a Key Account Hire Controller to join a leading provider of Plant Hire, Transport and Haulage service throughout the UK who are currently undergoing remarkable growth whilst supporting the UK’s Construction sector.
As a Hire Controller, you will be providing excellent customer service whilst off hiring plant and equipment to customers. As well as providing advice and guidance to Key Account customers to help ensure the correct equipment is hired.
Responsibilities:
* Handle hire enquiries from key account customers, ensuring efficient use of core fleet availability
* Provide expert guidance on available products and recommend suitable alternatives where appropriate
* Generate accurate and timely quotations using the Syrinx hire management system
* Ensure all customer queries are acknowledged and resolved within 24 hours
* Collaborate closely with depot teams and internal departments, including Logistics, Recruitment, and Credit Control, to meet customer hire requirements
* Visit customer sites and depots when required to strengthen relationships and gain a clear understanding of project needs
* Contribute to achieving company profit margin and performance targets
* Deliver a “right first time” service, consistently maintaining high standards of accuracy and customer care
What do I need?
* Strong planning and organizational skills.
* Prior experience within a similar industry; Plant, Construction or Vehicle rental
* Ability to work well within a team
* Attention to detail
* Proficiency in IT systems, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
