We are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cooks to join our team for work within schools across the Wigan region.
📍 Location: Wigan
💷 Pay Rate: From £15.00/hour
📅 Start Date: September
🕒 Shifts: Monday - Friday between the hours of 7am - 2pm (may vary depending on the school)
What You'll Do:
Prepare food to a high standard and adhering to menu specifications
Ensure kitchen is fully equipped and in good working condition, reporting any issues to be resolved by management
Stocke the kitchen with supplies and organising stockroom, including monitoring of sell-by dates and rotating stock
Monitor ingredients and reporting order requests
Maintain cleanliness of kitchens and food service areas
Follow food safety guidelines
Report any safeguarding concerns
Work and communicate effectively within the kitchen team and with Front of House team members
Complete due diligence and ensuring full compliance with relevant Health and Safety and Food Safety regulations
You Should Have:
Passion for food
Previous experience in a chef or cook role
Organised and good time management
A friendly and positive attitude
The ability to work under pressure
Reliability and good timekeeping
