About the role
As the first point of contact at our Welcome Point, you'll play a key role in creating a positive experience for students, staff, and visitors. Acting as an ambassador for the University, you'll provide helpful information, manage enquiries, and ensure the reception area is professional, welcoming, and efficient.
What you'll be doing:
Greeting visitors and delivering excellent customer service
Handling enquiries in person, by phone, and via email
Supporting events, meetings, and conference registrations
Issuing room keys and managing bookings and contractor access
Maintaining accurate records, databases, and filing systems
Sorting student mail and assisting with check-ins
Keeping reception organised, safe, and presentableWhat we're looking for:
Strong communication and customer service skills
A proactive team player with the ability to use your own initiative
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Confidence handling a variety of queries and tasks
