The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
REED Technology is supporting a healthcare organisation in Ipswich who are on their search for 6 x Endpoint Configuration Analyst / Build Engineer to join a busy Digital Services team.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in IT device deployment, desktop support, endpoint services or IT asset management who enjoys a hands-on technical role supporting end users and delivering high-quality IT services.
The Role
You'll be responsible for the configuration, deployment and support of IT equipment across a multi-site environment. Working within the Endpoint Services function, you'll support the setup, tracking and distribution of end-user devices whilst helping to maintain a high standard of customer service.
Key responsibilities include:
Building, configuring and deploying laptops, desktops, mobile phones and other endpoint devices
Supporting device rollouts, refresh programmes and new starter equipment requests
Maintaining accurate asset records and inventory databases
Logging, tracking and resolving IT incidents and service requests
Supporting users with device setup and troubleshooting
Managing stock levels of hardware and peripherals
Updating service management and asset tracking systems
Providing guidance and training to end users on devices and applications
Escalating technical issues where appropriate
What We're Looking For
Experience within an IT support, deployment, build or endpoint environment
Experience configuring laptops, desktops and mobile devices
Strong customer service and communication skills
Experience using ITSM or service desk systems
Experience maintaining asset records and inventories
Good working knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Office 365
Ability to prioritise workload and work independently
Full UK driving licence or ability to travel between sites when required
Highly Desirable
Experience with Intune, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, SCCM or Autopilot
