The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

We are currently recruiting for experienced Pipe Layers to join a major sewage treatment works project in Guildford, Surrey.
Working for a well-established principal contractor, this is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work on a significant water infrastructure scheme, with the potential for further opportunities across the Surrey and Hampshire regions upon completion.
Key Responsibilities
Installation of drainage and utility pipework in accordance with project specifications.
Laying pipes for water, wastewater and sewage treatment infrastructure.
Working from drawings and levels to ensure accurate installation.
Assisting with excavation, bedding, backfilling and reinstatement works.
Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
Working closely with site supervisors, machine operators and groundworks teams.
Maintaining compliance with all health, safety and environmental procedures.
Requirements
Valid EUSR card (essential).
Previous experience as a Pipe Layer within civil engineering, utilities, water or infrastructure projects.
Experience working on drainage, sewage treatment works, water treatment works or utility installations.
Ability to read and interpret drawings and site instructions.
Strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
Full PPE and ability to start in mid-June.
Desirable
Confined Spaces certification.
Deep Drainage experience.
Dumper or Roller tickets.
Experience on Thames Water projects.
