The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Lift Supervisor to join a major sewage treatment works project in Guildford, Surrey.
Working for a well-established principal contractor, this is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work on a significant water infrastructure scheme, with the potential for further opportunities across the Surrey and Hampshire regions upon completion.
Key Responsibilities
Planning, coordinating and supervising all lifting operations on site.
Ensuring lifting activities are carried out safely and in accordance with lifting plans and industry regulations.
Conducting pre-lift briefings and toolbox talks.
Coordinating with crane operators, slinger/signallers, site management and subcontractors.
Monitoring lifting operations to ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
Inspecting lifting equipment and ensuring all certifications are current and compliant.
Stopping lifting operations where unsafe conditions are identified.
Maintaining accurate records and documentation relating to lifting activities.
Requirements
Valid CPCS or NPORS Lift Supervisor qualification (essential).
Previous experience as a Lift Supervisor on civil engineering, infrastructure, construction or utilities projects.
Strong understanding of lifting operations, lift plans and site safety procedures.
Ability to coordinate multiple trades and site activities effectively.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Full PPE and ability to start in mid-June.
Desirable
Experience working on water or utilities projects.
CPCS Slinger/Signaller qualification.
Appointed Person qualification.
First Aid certification.
