The school is looking for caring, patient and proactive staff who can build positive relationships and support pupils in a safe and supportive environment.
The school is looking to appoint an SEN Learning Support Assistant on a long-term basis, supporting pupils with SEMH, ASD and ADHD. The successful SEN Learning Support Assistant will be expected to provide personal care where required, support learning and development, and take a proactive and open approach to understanding the individual needs of each child.
The successful SEN Learning Support Assistant will have:
• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN / SEND
• Experience supporting pupils with SEMH, ASD and ADHD
• Confidence providing personal care where required
• A proactive approach to supporting learning and development
• Patience, resilience and strong communication skills
• An open and understanding approach to individual needs
