We are currently recruiting for a Marine Finishing Technician to join a busy and growing marine aesthetics team supporting high-end vessels and yacht projects. This is a hands-on role suited to candidates with experience in gelcoat finishing, machine polishing, detailing, and marine valeting who take pride in delivering a high-quality finish.
This opportunity would suit someone from a marine, automotive detailing, yacht refit, or finishing background who has strong attention to detail and enjoys working within high-end marine environments. Carpentry or joinery experience would also be highly beneficial.
Key Responsibilities
* Gelcoat repairs and finishing
* Machine polishing and buffing of marine surfaces
* Marine valeting and detailing of vessels
* Preparing vessels to a high cosmetic standard
* Supporting yacht refit and finishing projects
* Using polishing and finishing tools/equipment safely
* Maintaining clean and organised work areas
* Supporting additional finishing or carpentry tasks where required
What We’re Looking For
* Experience within marine finishing, gelcoat repair, polishing, or detailing
* Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
* Experience using machine polishers and finishing equipment
* Ability to work independently and within a team
* Marine, automotive, or yacht industry experience beneficial
* Carpentry or joinery skills would be a bonus
* Positive attitude and reliable work ethic
