The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Audit & Accounts Senior to join an established and highly regarded accountancy practice.
The role offers a varied portfolio of clients, including small and medium-sized companies and charities, with the opportunity to build strong, long-term client relationships.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
Preparing statutory financial statements for limited companies and charities
Leading and completing audit assignments from planning through to completion
Preparing corporation tax returns
Managing your own workload and deadlines
Dealing with client queries and providing a proactive service
Reviewing work prepared by junior team members
Coaching and supporting junior staff
Contributing to wider team and internal initiatives
Getting involved in networking and business development activities
About You
The successful candidate will ideally be:
ACA or ACCA qualified
Experienced in completing audits within an accountancy practice
Confident preparing accounts and corporation tax returns
A strong communicator with excellent attention to detail
Organised and able to manage multiple deadlines
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Confident reviewing work and mentoring junior colleagues
Experience with cash flow forecasts and business plans would be advantageous but is not essential.
