We’re looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage the commercial aspects of a major, long-term construction project in Ardrossan. This role suits professionals confident working under NEC4 (Option C) with a background in M&E or building services. Ardrossan | Permanent | Approximately three days per week on-site, with flexibility for the remaining days.

Responsibilities
- Manage subcontractor accounts and ensure effective commercial performance
- Maintain accurate cost control, forecasting, and reporting
- Oversee valuations, applications, and payment processes
- Manage change control, variations, and final accounts
- Handle procurement and subcontract management activities
- Work under NEC4 Option C contract terms
Must-have Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in M&E, building services, utilities, or related sectors
- Strong knowledge of NEC4, specifically Option C
- Experience managing subcontractors
- Previous involvement in complex, large-scale projects
- Excellent commercial and contractual awareness
- Relevant qualifications are advantageous but experience is essential
Nice-to-have Skills
- Background in mechanical and electrical services (preferred but flexible)
