The rate of pay is £15.50 per hour
This is a full time role, working 4 on 4 off and the hours of work are:
- Days: 06:00 - 18:00
- Nights:18:00 - 06:00
Your Time at Work
- Maintaining driver/core staff rosters to ensure resource capability over a 24/7 period including reactive and emergency response
- Ensuring the numbers within the emergency response driving team are consistently maintained
- To implement and deploy the Emergency Plan ensuring compliance with Company Procedure
- Responsible for the allocation of ESL transport assets to individual convoys as required for all deployments
- Planning of routes and alternative routes, site locations and establishment and assisting with contingency planning.
- Ensuring GTS and housekeeping is constantly completed, particularly: -
- Depot log are completed by specified time
- Report errors to central team
- Check resource availability for the shift
- Monitor and report WTD issues / concerns to Operations team
- Ensuring there is ongoing verbal communication with the driving team to supplement the use of microlise system
- Liaise with Vehicle Maintainers to accurately report any Vehicle defects to the customer
- Ensuring there is clear daily communication between day and night shifts, utilising the night shift handover document
- Managing drivers hours in relation to customer requirements and volume demand
- Understanding and achieving specific targets regarding utilisation, loaded, empty legs
- Regularly assisting when required at drivers / debrief counter.
- To comply with health, Safety, Environment rules to ensure the safety of all employees, contractors and visitors.
- To report any breaches of Health and Safety to your Line Manager immediately.
- To report any accidents, incident or close- call in line with Company procedure and assist in any investigations which may be required
- To carry out any additional duties and support within the department as agreed with your line manager required to support the Department
- Reviewing customer requests, ensuring work is planned to time and correct equipment.
- Communicate with ESL Customer Services and Drivers, ensuring customer KPI targets are met.
- Complete and report Benefits and Concerns on a weekly basis

- Required to have good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word
- Desirable working knowledge of GTS system
- Experience in a similar role required
