Job Overview
- Site Waste Champion is responsible for the communication and execution of the Imperfect Product sales agenda and associated site waste streams, reporting to the central functional lead.
- The candidate will typically be responsible for the organisation and maximum collection opportunities in each product category of imperfect product.
- They will collaborate effectively and escalate potential risks to key stakeholders.
- Deliver documented reports on waste stream progress on a weekly basis to key stakeholders.
- The role will cover multiple waste streams across the site including card, plastic, animal feed, R1 Reduce, R2 Reuse, R3 Recycle. This list is not exhaustive.
Main Duties
- Building strong relationships with both internal and external customers
- Ensure maximum return is achieved where possible on the sale of waste
- Deliver the weekly and monthly Imperfect Product sales numbers vs forecast
- Supporting the UK Waste Specialist and Site Management Teams through reports and analysis that aid decision making where required
- Provide details of any scope data relevant to the role i.e., weekly net sales
- Maintenance of Imperfect Product Dashboard through tracking volume

- Proficient Excel and PowerPoint skills – including data analysis, advanced formula creation, pivot tables, and generating weekly and monthly reports
- Ideally educated to degree level

- Proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision
