The school is looking to appoint a dedicated Cover Supervisor to support classes across the school. The successful Cover Supervisor will be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lesson materials, maintaining a purposeful learning environment, managing behaviour in line with school policies, supporting pupils to stay focused and engaged, and ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of the regular teacher.
The successful Cover Supervisor will have:
• Experience working with young people, ideally within a school or education setting
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A confident, professional and approachable manner
• The ability to follow lesson plans and instructions clearly
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Flexibility to work across different subjects and year groups
• A positive attitude and commitment to supporting pupils’ learning
