What you'll be doing:
* The Senior Technician must have an excellent understanding of the SCADA system and independently fault find and rectify issues via this and the plant's equipment.
* Communicate clear instructions and information to MBT operatives to support operations and high emphasis will be placed on the plant availability and the performance of the biological process
* Conduct scheduled physical inspections in accordance with company Quality, Health, Safety
* and Environmental (QHSE) procedures
* Carry out operational Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) checks and report findings with the shift supervisor and maintenance the maintenance team.
* Record all defects and findings accordingly and assist with KPI data entry
* Provide line management with specialist knowledge and hands on expertise rectifying and
* preventing problems such as equipment failure, material blockages and biological process inefficiencies
* Prepare both facilities for daily operation and carry out necessary prestart equipment checks in conjunction with the shift supervisor.
