Head of Supply Chain
Location: North Derbyshire
Salary: Up to £65,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus
Hybrid Working

SF Recruitment are partnering with an established and growing business to recruit a Head of Supply Chain. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced procurement and supply chain leader to take ownership of the function, develop global sourcing strategies and drive commercial improvements across a fast-paced business.

Managing an established team, you will be responsible for strengthening supplier relationships, improving processes, delivering cost savings and developing the supply chain across the UK, Europe and Asia.

Key Responsibilities
-Lead, develop and support the procurement team, driving performance and continuous improvement.
-Develop and implement procurement and supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives.
-Manage global sourcing activities, with a focus on developing supplier networks across Asia and Europe.
-Lead supplier negotiations, contract management and supplier performance improvement.
-Identify cost-saving opportunities, supplier rationalisation and supply chain efficiencies.
-Improve demand planning, inventory management and forecasting processes.
-Develop procurement KPIs, manage supply chain risks and improve operational performance.
-Work closely with internal stakeholders to support business growth, sustainability and process improvements.

Experience Required
-Strong procurement and supply chain leadership experience, ideally within automotive, engineering, manufacturing or retail.
-Proven experience developing sourcing strategies and managing international supplier relationships.
-Strong commercial negotiation, contract management and cost-saving experience.
-Experience leading teams, implementing change and improving procurement processes.
-Good understanding of ERP/MRP systems, inventory management and demand planning.
-Hands-on, commercially driven and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

This role would suit an experienced procurement or supply chain professional who enjoys combining strategic leadership with hands-on involvement and is confident introducing structure, driving change and developing a high-performing team.
