HR & Recruitment Coordinator

Lancaster, PA | $61,000–$79,000 | Monday–Friday | 5 days in office

We are recruiting for an HR & Recruitment Coordinator to join a growing organisation in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional with at least 1 year of experience who is looking to develop their career within a broad, hands-on HR role.

Working closely with employees, managers and the wider People team, you’ll gain exposure across the full employee lifecycle, supporting day-to-day HR activity within a busy operational environment. You’ll work with both office-based and production employees, giving you the opportunity to build strong generalist HR experience across recruitment, employee relations, onboarding, HR administration and people operations.

The role

This is a varied HR position where no two days will necessarily look the same. Your responsibilities will include:

Providing day-to-day HR support to employees and managers
Acting as a first point of contact for general HR queries and escalating more complex matters where appropriate
Supporting employee relations matters and working closely with managers on people issues
Coordinating recruitment activity for both production and office-based roles
Supporting interviews, candidate communications, offers and pre-employment processes
Coordinating onboarding and ensuring new starters are fully prepared for their first day
Managing employee documentation, HR records and system updates
Supporting leave administration, background checks and other employee lifecycle processes
Maintaining accurate and confidential employee data
Supporting HR reporting, audits and compliance requirements
Working closely with Operations and production teams to support the workforce
Supporting employee engagement initiatives and wider People projects
Identifying opportunities to improve HR processes and the employee experience
About you

We’re looking for someone who already has a foundation of professional HR experience and is hungry to develop further.

You’ll ideally have:

At least 1 year of hands-on HR experience
Experience across general HR administration, recruitment, onboarding or employee support
Exposure to employee relations or handling employee queries
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to work with employees and managers at all levels
Excellent organisation and attention to detail
The ability to work in a fast-paced, operational environment
Experience working with HRIS, ATS or other HR systems
Good Microsoft Office and Excel skills
The ability to handle confidential information professionally
A polished and professional approach
A proactive, positive and ambitious attitude
A genuine desire to learn, develop and progress within HR
Experience supporting a production, warehouse or other operational workforce would be advantageous.
An HR-related degree is preferred, although equivalent professional experience will be considered.
