Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours

We are recruiting for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a successful, established and growing UK business.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven B2B sales professional who enjoys winning new business, developing customer relationships and managing their own territory.
Working from home and covering the North West, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new B2B opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers and managing the full sales process from initial prospecting through to securing new business.
You will also develop existing customer accounts, build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, identify new market opportunities and work closely with internal teams to deliver excellent customer service. The role will also involve supporting and leading two members of staff.
About You
We are looking for someone with at least 5 years' B2B sales or business development experience and a strong track record of winning new business.
You will be confident prospecting through cold calling, networking, LinkedIn, referrals and other channels, with the ability to build strong relationships and negotiate effectively with key decision-makers.
Experience selling into commercial, industrial, manufacturing, engineering or technical businesses would be advantageous, but specific industry experience is not essential.
You will need to be self-motivated, commercially focused and comfortable managing your own territory and sales pipeline. A full UK driving licence is essential.
Regular travel throughout the North West will be required, along with occasional overnight stays and meetings at the Nottinghamshire head office.
This role would suit an experienced Business Development Manager, Regional Sales Manager, Area Sales Manager or Field Sales Manager looking for a high-autonomy position with an excellent package.
