VACANCY: Engineering Manager

LOCATION: Staveley/Hyde/Corby (regular travel across three UK sites)

We have a vacancy for an Engineering Manager to work across our three AVK UK sites, Chesterfield, Hyde and Corby.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This is a pivotal role where you’ll take ownership of the engineering strategy, delivering automation projects and improving plant performance across multiple sites. You’ll play a key part in transforming operations through LEAN methodology, data-driven decision-making, and Industry 4.0 technologies.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Leading and delivering a multi-year automation and digitalisation strategy

* Driving engineering excellence, improving reliability, utilisation and OEE

* Overseeing installation, commissioning and optimisation of equipment and layouts

* Championing continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives across all sites

* Managing and developing a high-performing team of engineers

* Ensuring full compliance with safety, quality and regulatory standards

* Owning engineering budgets, capex planning and project delivery

ABOUT YOU:

* A degree/HND in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation or similar

* Proven leadership experience within a manufacturing environment

* Strong background in automation projects and continuous improvement

* Demonstrated success in improving plant performance and reliability
