As a 2nd Line Support Engineer, your responsibilities will include…
* Responding to and resolving tickets, customer issues, incidents, and queries
* Provide onsite/remote support in positive and proactive manner
* Working on a blend of IT support, networking, telecoms and server work
* Installing/setting equipment on client site to the highest possible standard
* Working with team on issue escalation/troubleshooting 3rd party applications
* Taking ownership of assigned and adopting a ‘hands on’ problem solving approach
We are looking for 2nd Line Support Engineer with the following skills and experience…
* Ideally 2- 3 years’ experience in an IT role within an MSP
* Knowledge on Windows Server, Backups, Virtualisations, Antivirus, Office 365, Networking essentials, Windows OS etc and Microsoft desktop operating systems
* Microsoft Active Directory & Microsoft Exchange 2007 – 2016
* Passion for delivering great customer service both remotely and in person
* Knowledge of Azure, telecoms, Draytek and Ubiquiti is beneficial
* Be efficient, adaptable, flexible and hold a Clean UK driving license
In return, the successful 2nd Line Support Engineer will receive a salary of £35,000 to £40,000, plus the following benefits…
