The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
We are seeking an experienced and driven Contracts Manager to oversee multiple construction projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The Role-
As Contracts Manager, you will take responsibility for managing construction contracts from pre-construction through to completion. You will oversee project teams, coordinate subcontractors, monitor performance, and ensure contractual obligations are met while maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities-
Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously.
Oversee project delivery, ensuring programmes, budgets, and quality standards are achieved.
Review, negotiate, and administer construction contracts.
Lead and support Site Managers and project teams.
Monitor project performance, progress, and profitability.
Manage client relationships and attend regular project meetings.
Identify and mitigate project risks and contractual issues.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
Coordinate procurement activities and subcontractor management.
Prepare and present project reports to senior management.
Support business development and tendering activities where required.Requirements-
Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of construction contracts and project management principles.
Experience managing multiple projects and site teams.
Excellent commercial awareness and budget management skills.
Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation abilities.
Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.
Full UK driving licence.Desirable Qualifications-
Degree or HNC/HND in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
SMSTS certification.
CSCS Card.
