The Role

We are seeking a Process Engineer to join our Daresbury office as part of our process engineering team. This role is well suited to a graduate or developing engineer looking to build hands‑on experience across a wide range of UK‑based design engineering projects within a high‑performing consultancy environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Produce process calculations, data sheets, and equipment specifications

- Develop PFDs, P&IDs and cause & effect diagrams

- Support the preparation of process philosophies, reports, and schedules

- Assist with plant troubleshooting and site-based investigations

- Liaise with vendors and suppliers to assist with technical queries

- Support HAZOP/HAZID preparation and participation

Experience & Qualifications

* Degree in Chemical Engineering

* Strong technical foundation and willingness to develop professionally

* Familiarity with process design tools and industry regulations

* Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to learning

* Strong communication and teamwork skills

* Passion for delivering safe, fit for purpose, accurate design, completed to cost and programme.

* Exposure to work in a multi-discipline team

* Demonstrable experience working on site at a process plant and or manufacturing plant.
