Our client is a multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy with a network of national offices. Their Bristol office has been particularly successful recently, with a number of project wins. As a result, they are looking to hire a senior structural engineer to help with project delivery.
Projects include residential, retail and commercial plus many more.
About you:
Degree in Structural Engineering
Chartered or close to
At least 6 years' experience within a UK consultancy
Experience at senior engineer level where you have been the technical lead on projects
Fully conversant with use of Eurocodes and structural analysis design software
Design experience in all traditional forms of buildings structures
The role:
Analysis and design using Tekla and Fastrak
Structural assessment and inspection of new and existing structures in all materials
Oversee technical output ensuring work is of highest standard
Good communication skills are vital to produce technical reports including structural surveys
