The successful Graduate Design Engineer will be given technical training but expected to have an academic understanding of technical drawings, Solidworks component lists and specification writing. It would also be seen as an advantage to have experience or knowledge of the building services industry.
Graduate Design Engineer Position Overview
Reporting to one of the Directors and working alongside the contracts team, you will be responsible for designing various systems, sheet metal enclosures and making fan/ filter selection.
Responsible for production of design calculations, sketch drawings, and system schematics.
Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to deliver design ideas alongside the production and technical teams.
Produce cost proposals for clients.
See projects through from initial conception to installation, commissioning and hand over to the client.
Graduate Design Engineer Position Requirements
Degree qualified within an Engineering orientated subject
Experience/ Proficiency with AutoCAD/ Solidworks
Based within a commutable distance of Bristol
Full UK Driving License

Starting salary £27,000
Monday - Friday, full-time, permanent position.
28 Days Holiday, (including Bank Holidays)
