About the place
You will work at a large and successful holiday park in Hapert, surrounded by nature. The plaza has several hospitality outlets, including a buffet restaurant, an à la carte restaurant, a pizzeria and a snack bar.
The kitchen works with the idea of the Kitchen of the Future. Portions are already prepared, and cooking is done with high-tech ovens that ensure the right preparation and consistency. This allows the team to send out dishes at high speed, without requiring years of kitchen experience.
The role
As a kitchen team member, you mainly help with the à la carte dishes. You will work with around five to six colleagues in the kitchen. One person works the fryer, another handles the oven and someone else plates the dishes.
That makes it real teamwork. It is hard work, especially during busy moments, but that is exactly what makes this role enjoyable if you like pace and working together.
What will you do?
- You help prepare and send out à la carte dishes.
- You work with quality ingredients and smart kitchen equipment.
- You help at the fryer, ovens or plating section.
- You make sure dishes leave the kitchen quickly and neatly.
- You keep your station clean and organised during the shift.
- You support the team during busy moments when many guests want to eat at the same time.
Who are we looking for?
- This role suits you if you enjoy working in a kitchen and have an interest in cooking.
- Kitchen experience is not required. What matters is that you enjoy teamwork, can handle pace and like being part of a kitchen team. You do not need to be a chef; you mainly need to be willing to learn, join in and get things done.
- You are available for seasonal work from now until the end of October. If it is a good match on both sides, you can also continue working throughout the year.
What do we offer?
- An hourly wage of €17.67 including holiday allowance and holiday days.
- Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometre.
- 25% Sunday allowance.
- Work for 32 to 38 hours per week, with room to discuss what suits you.
- Shifts from 12:00 to 21:00, 14:00 to 22:00 or 16:00 to 23:30.
- Training and guidance, also if you do not have previous kitchen experience.
- Work in a smart kitchen with high-tech ovens and a clear team structure.
- A friendly team of around five to six colleagues per kitchen shift.
- Work at a busy holiday park in Hapert, surrounded by nature.
- The possibility to continue working after the season, in autumn or throughout the year.
