To strengthen our sales department, we are expanding our team with a Customer Service & Sales Support Specialist in Halsteren. The team consists of seven colleagues, divided between internal and field service.
The department is currently operating in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a high workload creating the need for additional support. At the same time, a major IT transformation is on the horizon: the transition to SAP S/4HANA. We are therefore looking for a proactive and adaptable professional who can confidently take ownership of day-to-day sales support activities. Experience with SAP S/4HANA would be a strong advantage, allowing the successful candidate to hit the ground running.
What will you be doing?
As a Customer Service & Sales Support Specialist, you are a vital link between our customers, sales team, and internal organization. You ensure that processes run smoothly, customers are informed accurately and on time, and agreements are fulfilled. No two days are the same, and you will maintain frequent contact with both internal and external stakeholders.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating and managing customer and product data, including new products and accounts;
- Maintaining daily contact with customers, sales personnel, and internal departments;
- Identifying, analyzing, and resolving customer complaints, claims, and operational bottlenecks;
- Handling invoicing, credit notes, reporting, and related administrative duties;
- Monitoring operational processes, data quality, and compliance (including CBS statutory reporting).
Who are you?
You are a service-oriented and detail-driven professional with strong analytical skills who easily maintains an overview in a fast-paced environment. You derive energy from customer interaction, teamwork, and driving process improvements. You take initiative, think along constructively, and take ownership of your responsibilities.
Additionally, you have:
- A Bachelor’s degree or MBO+/HBO working and thinking level;
- Relevant experience in a similar position, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing environment;
- A structured, accurate approach to work while remaining calm under pressure;
- The ability to work independently while actively collaborating across departments;
- Proven experience with SAP (knowledge of or affinity with SAP S/4HANA is a strong advantage) and proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel;
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English; knowledge of German and/or French is a plus.
