Power platform lead consultant

As a Power Platform Consultant within the Acquire to Decommission (A2D) value stream, you will help build a future-proof Power Platform capability that supports critical business processes across the organization.

You will work in an environment with a large and growing portfolio of Power Platform solutions, ranging from citizen-developed applications to business-critical enterprise platforms. Together with business stakeholders, Product Owners, architects, developers and external partners, you will ensure solutions are secure, scalable, maintainable and aligned with business priorities.

As a power platform lead consultant at Tata Steel...

• Design, develop and improve Power Platform solutions. You will work with Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Pages and Microsoft 365 integrations to modernise and optimise business processes across multiple domains.
• Translate business requirements into practical solutions. You will analyse business needs, create functional and technical designs, and advise stakeholders on the most suitable solution, integration or architecture approach.
• Support the professionalisation of the Power Platform landscape. You will help onboard existing applications into Digital Technologies and ensure proper documentation, ownership, support processes and knowledge transfer are in place.
• Drive continuous improvement and collaboration. You will support incident resolution, testing and releases, participate in Agile ceremonies, and coach colleagues and citizen developers in Power Platform best practices, governance and maintainability.

You enjoy working where business, technology, governance and delivery come together. You are analytical, pragmatic and able to translate complex requirements into reliable and maintainable solutions. You communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and actively contribute to standardisation, quality and continuous improvement. In addition, you have:

• A Bachelor’s degree (HBO level) in Information Technology, Business Information Management, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of IT experience, including strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, such as Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse.
• Knowledge of application lifecycle management (ALM), deployment processes, testing, release management, governance, security and support models.
• Experience with integrations, APIs, custom connectors, SharePoint Online, Azure services, SQL and working within Agile or DevOps environments.

Nice to have:

• Microsoft certifications such as PL-200, PL-400, PL-600 or related Microsoft 365 and Azure certifications.
• Experience with enterprise-scale Power Platform environments, deployment pipelines, monitoring and performance optimisation.
• Experience in asset management, engineering, maintenance processes or SAP environments.
• Experience supporting citizen development initiatives and transitioning business-managed applications into formal IT support.

• A salary between €4,319.25 and €7,632.08 gross per month, depending on your experience, plus a variable profit-sharing scheme.
• At least 28 days of annual leave and 11.5 additional ADV (reduction of working hours) days.

Digital Technologies plays a central role in delivering secure, reliable and scalable digital solutions that enable business value. The Acquire to Decommission value stream supports processes across engineering, maintenance, asset management, downstream operations and application lifecycle management.

Within this environment, you will help build a mature Power Platform DevOps capability. You will contribute to professionalising delivery and support processes, reducing dependency on informal business-managed solutions and ensuring Power Platform applications provide sustainable long-term value to the business.
