Zoku provides a home for business travelers who want to live in a city for between a few days and a few months. We're a new type of hotel offering a relaxed place to live, co-work and socialize across Europe. Join an international team of driven, proactive and fun-loving Zokus who all have one thing in common: a passion for connecting people across the globe.

As our Head of Marketing, you’ll lead how Zoku builds awareness, creates demand and shows up across Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Vienna and Paris.

You’ll own our yearly marketing and campaign planning across email, social media, paid social, PR, influencer collaborations, events, partnerships and content.

You’ll lead a lean marketing team, work closely with local teams and external partners, and make sure our campaigns connect strong brand thinking with clear commercial goals.

No day looks the same as Head of Marketing… but here's a glimpse of what you can expect:

• Own the Marketing Strategy: Shape Zoku’s overall marketing direction and annual plan.

• Lead Campaign Planning: Build integrated campaigns across stays, long stay, coworking, M&E, F&B and community.

• Grow the Brand: Strengthen Zoku’s positioning and make sure it comes through consistently across markets.

• Lead Social & Email Marketing: Set direction for organic social, paid social, newsletters and lifecycle communications.

• Own Communications & PR: Guide external storytelling, media opportunities and written communications.

• Develop Influencer Marketing: Build a more structured approach to influencer outreach, collaborations and performance.

• Build Brand Partnerships: Develop relevant partnerships with brands, communities and organizations.

• Use Events as Marketing: Shape activations that build awareness, community and commercial value.

• Lead Content Direction: Define the stories and assets Zoku needs and turn priorities into strong briefs.

• Lead & Develop the Team: Set priorities, coach the team and help people grow in their areas of expertise.

• Manage Budgets & Partners: Own relevant budgets, agencies, freelancers and specialist partners.

• Work Smart with AI: Use AI to improve research, ideation, production, localization and analysis.

• Track What Works: Use performance data to improve campaigns and investment decisions.

• Report to Stakeholders: Report into the Commercial Director and translate activity into clear results and priorities.

• A gross maximum monthly salary of €5,000 – €6,000, depending on relevant experience.

• A broad role spanning brand, campaigns, social, communications, partnerships and content.

• Have at least 5 years of management experience in marketing, brand or communications.

• Know how to turn brand strategy into campaigns and commercial activity.

• Have worked across social, email, PR, content, partnerships and paid media.

• Are strong storytellers and confident writing clear creative briefs.

• Are commercially minded and comfortable using data to prioritize.

• Can balance long-term planning with hands-on execution.

• Use AI tools actively as part of modern marketing work.

• Have hospitality, travel, lifestyle or community-brand experience. This is a plus.

A FEW MUST HAVES

• Senior marketing experience with ownership of an integrated marketing plan.

• Experience leading or developing other marketers.

• Strong stakeholder management skills.

• Strong written and verbal English.

• An EU passport or valid working and residence permit for The Netherlands.

• Availability for a full-time role.
