Senior Supply Chain Consumer Specialist | Temporary

Our client is looking for a Senior Supply Chain Consumer x FOP Specialist to join its EMEA Supply Chain team. In this role, you will play a key part in connecting Supply Chain with Consumer, Marketplace, Commercial, Merchandising, Planning, and Logistics teams to ensure strong operational execution across key business areas.
You will be responsible for driving operational performance, supporting strategic supply chain initiatives, improving visibility, and ensuring alignment across multiple cross-functional teams. The role requires someone who can work confidently in a matrix environment, influence stakeholders, prioritize effectively, and translate strategic objectives into concrete operational results.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Supply Chain activities related to key strategic business areas and growth drivers.
• Take ownership of operational performance and cross-functional collaboration.
• Support strategic goals and ensure a consistent operational approach across the organization.
• Focus on product launches, operational KPIs, visibility, and follow-up actions.
• Work closely with Consumer, Marketplace Supply Chain, Commercial, Merchandising, Planning, Logistics, and other internal and external stakeholders.
• Act as a key Supply Chain representative towards internal stakeholders.
• Drive initiatives aimed at improving service, convenience, sustainability, and profitability.
• Support transformation and process improvement initiatives within the Supply Chain organization.
• Coordinate and align activities across multiple internal and external partners.
• Use strong stakeholder management, influencing, and prioritization skills to ensure successful operational execution.
• Provide subject matter expertise and support different areas of the EMEA Supply Chain organization when business needs require it.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent educational background.
• Minimum 5 years of directly relevant experience in Supply Chain Operations.
• Strong and broad experience within Supply Chain Operations.
• Solid understanding of Demand & Supply Management processes.
• Experience setting strategic goals and supporting strategy deployment.
• Proven experience working with and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong experience collaborating across Supply Chain, Planning, Logistics, Commercial, Merchandising, and other business functions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a complex, international, and matrix-driven organization.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• An innovative and proactive mindset.
• Ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple stakeholders and business priorities simultaneously.
• Currently residing in Hilversum or the surrounding area.
