Opdrachtomschrijving
Toelichting
Our coffee business is preparing for a significant corporate transition and strategic evolution. This is an exciting, fast-paced period that increases the communications workload across both internal and external channels.
To successfully deliver these milestones while keeping business-as-usual communications running smoothly, we are looking an external professional to temporarily supplement our permanent Internal and External Communications teams. The upcoming strategic milestones will be the priority focus, but both roles will flex to cover broader communications needs as required.
The assignment in brief
Provide hands-on interim communications support through this transitional phase. The immediate priority is the end-to-end launch of the new transition and evolution including announcements, values rollout, digital presence, and brand materials alongside strategic communication around our corporate evolution.
Purpose
Provide interim external communications support through the transition driving the external rollout of the new corporate identity and flexing to broader external comms as needed.
Coordinate brand rollout execution: website build, visual identity application, signage, templates and collateral
Manage design, web and production agencies/vendors and hold the line on brand consistency
Support external announcement comms around the spin, working with the PR agency and External Communications Manager
Own launch assets and timelines through to go-live
Provide general external comms support to the External Communications Manager as required
Senior, hands-on communications operators comfortable working with autonomy in a fast-moving transaction environment
Available for an interim engagement to April and comfortable with confidentiality
Strong project coordination and stakeholder management; able to flex across priorities
Job requirements
Diverse Professional Background: A broad career foundation prior to transitioning into corporate communications (e.g., valuable experience in investment banking, finance, or law is highly preferred).
International & US Experience: Proven experience working in a highly international business environment, with a strong preference for direct experience in the US market.
Corporate Change & Media Relations: Solid experience managing media relations and communications during major corporate transformations (e.g., mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, or the formation of new corporate entities).
The "Advisor & Doer" Mindset: A perfect balance of strategic and operational skills. You can confidently advise senior leadership, but you are equally energized by rolling up your sleeves to execute (e.g., drafting content, pitching to media, and building relationships).
Mid-to-Senior Level Agility: You have solid, proven experience in corporate communications but are looking for a highly active, execution-focused role rather than a purely strategic, people-management position.
External Comms
External comms background, including brand activation, brand rollout and marketing comms; experience landing a visual identity across web, print and physical environments; agency management; rebrand or M&A/spin experience a strong plus.
Experience in an international setting at the highest level.
English speaking or Dutch native with C2 English who has worked abroad.
Open to do operational tasks, but will also delegate.
