To support an on site project for a client in the pharmaceutical sector in the region of Brussels we are searching for a Process Engineer (medior level).

Our OTS (Outsourced Technical Services) department supports projects in different sectors on basis of project staffing with consultants working at the client’s site.
Responsibilities
Context:
The candidate will join a large-scale global digital transformation program aiming to centralize and improve clinical data management through redesigned and compliant processes. The role focuses on implementing the transition from current to future-state processes by ensuring they are practical, well-structured, and effectively adopted across the organization.
Team info:
The candidate will join a process engineering team within a broader transformation program, currently composed of 4 process engineers (both internal and external) based mainly in Europe. The team works closely with process owners and cross-functional stakeholders in an agile setup with regular ceremonies and interactions.
Day to day:
- Collaborate daily with process owners and stakeholders to understand, map and improve current and future processes
- Translate business process information into structured process maps using BPM tools
- Convert process designs into actionable and workable ways of working
- Support and create process documentation, including SOPs and standardized templates
- Contribute to governance updates and ensure alignment with target operating models
- Identify gaps, inconsistencies and improvement opportunities in processes and documentation
- Ensure proper implementation of redesigned processes and support change adoption
- Participate in agile ceremonies and regular team interactions
Qualifications
Years of experience in the position / total:
- Around 5+ years of relevant experience minimum
- Ideally up to 8+ years of experience in process engineering, process excellence or transformation environments
- Strong experience in process mapping, process engineering and process improvement
- Lean Six Sigma knowledge (minimum Yellow Belt level)
- Hands-on experience with BPM or process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, ARIS, iGraphics or equivalent)
- Ability to translate process design into implementation and operational practices
- Strong stakeholder management and proactive communication skills
- Experience working in agile or project-based environments
- Solid documentation skills (process maps, SOPs, templates)
- Excellent command/Fluency in English (written and oral)
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or regulated environments
- Knowledge of GxP regulations and data integrity principles
- Experience with large-scale transformation programs
- Exposure to clinical or R&D processes
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies beyond Lean Six Sigma
- Full-time only
- Hybrid setup: 2 days onsite
- Candidate should be located in Belgium or at least close enough to come on site following the requirement above
