Your responsibilities
- Proactively approach customers who show interest in the kitchen range, offer support and provide information on products, services and stock availability to create a great shopping experience.
- Provide kitchen planning sessions for kitchen design and layout, ranging from 45 minutes up to 1 hour.
- Coach and guide both customers and co-workers throughout the ordering process.
- Place kitchen orders on behalf of customers.
- Manage kitchen-related sales leads.
- Respond to inquiries related to kitchen products.
- Review and verify customer plans based on design and planning guidelines.
- Maintain a strong and up-to-date understanding of IKEA kitchen products and market trends.
- Support customers throughout the entire journey, from design proposals to sales closure and pre-installation guidance.
- Act as a dedicated planning specialist during store opening hours, ensuring that customers receive smooth, helpful and inspiring kitchen planning experience.
- Regularly review your performance with your line manager, identifying opportunities for improvement and shaping future actions that help our kitchen business grow.
- Continuously refine room settings, compacts, kitchen hubs, clusters and media to ensure the kitchen range is presented in an inspiring and commercial way, and coordinate the actions needed to keep it in great shape.
- Take ownership of the customer journey from the first kitchen inquiry through planning, measurement, purchase and installation, ensuring a seamless one-stop IKEA kitchen experience.
- By embracing every omnichannel touchpoint, including phone, text, email, and VCS, you'll keep in close contact with customers. This means taking all necessary follow-up actions and proactively collaborating with other departments and units to create a smooth journey from planning to purchase and final installation, ensuring they receive the best possible shopping experience.
