Based at our Amsterdam headquarters, you will be a central member of the leadership team and a close strategic partner to the CEO. You will lead myTomorrows through its next chapter of technological maturity, platform scaling, and product‑driven value creation.
Primary Responsibilities- Driving market positioning & product strategy: Own the product strategy, translate the mission into a clear vision, and position our platform as the global infrastructure layer connecting all stakeholders in a highly regulated market.
- Evolving from Tooling to an AI Layer: Own the AI and data strategy, embed machine learning, NLP and LLMs into patient identification, trial matching and RWD workflows, and turn manual operations into automated, defensible advantages.
- Building a Culture of Velocity: Design a product operating model optimized for speed: short cycles, fast decisions, high deployment frequency (CI/CD) and engineering discipline to cut scope rather than slip dates.
- Architecting for Global Scale & Governance: Scale a cloud‑native platform that manages highly sensitive healthcare data worldwide, mature our infrastructure (Kubernetes, Terraform), and ensure strict compliance with GDPR, US health data regulations and other international frameworks.
- Being a Commercial & Investor Partner: Serve as a trusted product & technology representative to the Supervisory Board and BioPharma clients, and collaborate closely with commercial to align roadmaps with commercial success.
- Proven Executive Leadership: Experience as CPTO, CPO, CTO or a high‑impact VP role in a high‑growth HealthTech, life sciences or SaaS‑enabled services company.
- AI & Data Product Maturation: Hands‑on experience scaling AI‑powered products, embedding machine learning/NLP into production workflows, and working with complex data landscapes.
- Engineering Credibility: Knowledge of Python, FastAPI, AWS cloud‑native setups, and interest in knowledge graphs (Neo4j/Memgraph) and modern database structures (SQL & NoSQL).
- Regulated Sector Navigation: Exposure to compliance‑intensive environments, healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR) and privacy frameworks.
- Human‑in‑the‑Loop Savviness: Experience building software that seamlessly blends digital automation with operational, human‑led service workflows.
- A Builder at Heart: Visionary yet grounded, energized by creating and scaling, comfortable reviewing architecture, writing briefs, or unblocking teams.

This is a hybrid role combining flexible home‑office days with regular days at our Amsterdam headquarters. We value face‑to‑face collaboration and are looking for candidates who already live within commuting distance. Fully remote options are not available.
The Technology Platform Today- Backend: Python, FastAPI, deployed primarily as AWS Lambda functions (currently transitioning to Kubernetes‑managed services).
- Frontend: Angular web front‑end.
- Data Architecture: AWS RDS (SQL), AWS DynamoDB (NoSQL), and expanding knowledge‑graph capabilities (Neo4j / Memgraph).
- AI/ML: In‑house human‑in‑the‑loop machine learning utilizing LLMs and NLP techniques for patient matching.
- Tooling: GitHub Actions, Terraform, Renovate, ruff, Poetry.
- Delivered a high‑impact, high‑value product and technology roadmap aligned with commercial targets and investor commitments.
- Materially advanced AI‑driven features, showing clear improvements in automated trial matching and platform intelligence.
- Raised deployment frequency and delivery predictability across product and engineering teams.
- Advanced architecture to seamlessly handle multi‑language, multi‑jurisdiction requirements for international expansion.
- Built an ironclad data privacy, cybersecurity, and AI governance framework ready for increasing regulatory scrutiny.
