Finance Director Audi Thailand

As the Finance Director, you will hold a crucial executive seat within Meistertechnik, serving as the strategic co-pilot to the Managing Director and a financial anchor to regional leadership. You will manage the joint venture’s full financial infrastructure, ensuring rigorous operational control, forward-looking strategic planning, and reporting reliability.

• Strategic Finance & Modeling: Lead long-term business planning, annual budgeting, monthly rolling forecasts, and liquidity metrics to match commercial expansion. Design financial simulation models to compute investment viability, capital allocation, and cash-flow projections.
• Accounting & Compliance: Establish rigorous control frameworks compliant with IFRS, Dutch GAAP, and local statutory guidelines. Direct tax planning strategies, transfer pricing compliance, customs valuation, and statutory filings in Thailand.
• Treasury & Risk Management: Manage local banking partnerships, credit facilities, and risk-hedging frameworks in close coordination with the Pon Holdings Treasury department in the Netherlands.
• Team Leadership & Operations: Manage, mentor, and upskill a finance organization of approximately 22 FTE across Wholesale and Retail operations. Your direct reports will include the Senior Accounting Manager (Wholesale), Finance Treasury Manager (Wholesale), Finance Controller (Retail), and Accounting Manager (Retail).
• Executive Partnership & Stakeholder Management: Act as a strategic bridge between the Dutch majority shareholder and Thai minority shareholder, ensuring alignment and navigating diverse interests with diplomatic finesse and cultural empathy. Prepare and present financial briefs to the Executive and Supervisory Boards of Pon Holdings. Act as the primary local interface for external auditors, banks, tax authorities, and Pon Group teams in the Netherlands.
• Financial Reporting: Deliver accurate, highly analytical monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting packs (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow) in line with IFRS and Pon Group standards.

Education & Certifications:

• Master’s degree or university equivalent in Business Economics, Corporate Finance, or Accounting.
• A professional certification such as CPA, CA, RC, or RA is highly preferred.

Experience & Technical Competencies:

• Minimum of 8 to 10 years of progressive financial management experience, including significant time in a senior leadership capacity.
• Proven experience within automotive wholesale/retail networks, multinational joint ventures, or premium consumer markets is advantageous.
• A foundation in Financial Due Diligence (Transaction Services) or Big 4 audit environments is beneficial.
• Strong mastery of IFRS, international accounting standards, statutory Thai tax frameworks, and advanced financial modeling.
• Proficiency with corporate consolidation tools (e.g., SAP, Hyperion, or similar ERP architectures), advanced Excel, and PowerPoint.
