Destination: voco® The Hague 

Come on into an iconic former bank building where offices and ATMs have made way for a brand-new hotel. First impression? 204 elegantly furnished rooms, 7 floors and a warm welcome from your future team. Inside voco® The Hague you will have your place at the beautiful front office. 

You are responsible for: 

F&B outlets:

· Take ownership of the operations in F&B outlets, ensuring smooth, efficient, and high-quality service delivery.

· Oversee and support room service operations, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and guest satisfaction.

· Ensure all service procedures align with voco® and IHG standards.

· Monitor daily operations and proactively resolve service issues, including staffing, scheduling, task allocation and adjusting resources based on business demand.

· Coordinate closely with kitchen and other departments to ensure seamless service flow.

Guest Experience & Quality Focus:

· Actively engage with guests during service to create a welcoming and personalized experience.

· Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally and ensure appropriate follow-up.

· Maintain high visibility on the floor during peak service times.

· Focus on achieving and exceeding IHG food & beverage scores.

Ordering & Cost Control:

· Responsible for ordering and stock management for outlet related service items.

· Monitor inventory levels, reduce waste, and ensure cost efficiency.

· Work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to maintain product quality and availability.

· Monitor sales, analyze trends, and implement strategies to increase revenue while maintaining quality and brand standards in cooperation with the Operations Manager.

Team Leadership & Development:

· Lead, motivate, and guide the service team in a positive and professional manner on a daily basis, according to standards and service expectations.

· Ensure team members are trained according to voco® standards and service expectations.

· Provide on-the-job coaching and support to improve performance and service quality.

· Foster a positive, collaborative, and guest-focused team culture.

· Support Operations Manager in performance management and team development initiatives.

Standards & Compliance:

· Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and HACCP regulations.

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant and service areas.

· Ensure all operational procedures and brand standards are consistently followed.

· Monitor the maintenance, cleanliness, and proper use of all equipment, tools, and supplies; coordinate with engineering for repairs when required.

Continuous Improvement & Reporting:

· Monitor key performance indicators, including guest satisfaction scores, upselling results, and operational efficiency.

· Identify opportunities for improvement and implement action plans.

· Report operational insights, challenges, and results to the Operations Manager.

Did you bring everything? 

· Proven experience in a F&B leadership role.

· Strong leadership and team development skills, with the ability to motivate, mentor, and inspire staff.

· Solid understanding of restaurant and bar operations, with experience in menu development, service standards, and operational processes.

· Basic financial acumen, including, cost control and P&L

· Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

· Passion for hospitality, and delivering exceptional guest experience
