The Relationship Manager New build works as an adviser for Living Segments and collaborates with a regional team of approximately 15 to 20 advisers. You report to the Lead New build of the Adviseteam Wonen. In consultation with the Lead you ensure that New build Specialists are involved in the projects you have won, encourage them to achieve maximum performance, and organise commercial activities with them. You link the results back to the Lead.
Roles and ResponsibilitiesYou spend about half of your working time acquiring new construction projects and coordinating the commercial activities that the New build Specialists undertake on these projects. The other half is dedicated to providing home‑advice to (potential) customers.
Your tasks include visiting project developers and new build estate agents to pitch ING’s new build proposition and realising regional cooperation. You develop a strategic acquisition plan based on market‑trend analysis and competitive positioning, maintain and expand a network of developers and agents, and use this cooperation to generate growth for new build financing.
What We Expect from the Relationship Manager New BuildYou should have a thorough knowledge of and a strong network in the regional housing market. As a discussion partner you know project developers’ and estate agents’ current construction projects and future ambitions, understand the needs of potential home buyers, and create commercial opportunities with ING’s products and services. You are also active in building and maintaining a network of internal partners, such as Business Banking, Private Banking, and Real Estate Finance, and you know how to identify, approach, initiate, maintain and expand successful relationships.
How to SucceedWe hire smart people for their potential. Our biggest expectation is that you’ll stay curious, keep learning, take on responsibility, and develop into an even more effective version of yourself. Success is measurable by the number of active project developers and estate agents in your network, the number of new construction projects where ING is a commercial partner, leads generated and production in mortgages.
