The roleTo design, implement, and govern the global operating framework of the company’s Security Operations Centers (SOC) and Command & Control environments, ensuring standardized procedures, clear authority structures, professional competency, and operational alignment across all global sites.
The role is responsible for establishing governance standards, developing operational doctrine and training programs, and overseeing quality assurance and continuous improvement of SOC operations worldwide.
Your responsibilities will include:- Organizational Governance & Strategic Planning: Define and implement the global SOC operating model, including structure, clear reporting lines, authority levels, decision rights, and escalation frameworks across Corporate and regional SOCs.
- Establish and maintain a governance framework defining centralized vs. Local responsibilities and accountability.
- Ensure global standardization and operational alignment across all sites.
- Conduct manpower, technology, and infrastructure assessments to support current and future operational needs.
- Develop scalable staffing models, shift structures, and multi-year capacity plans aligned with business growth.
- Identify operational and technological gaps and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Operational Doctrine & SOP Development: Develop and maintain the global Concept of Operations (CONOPS).
- Draft, implement, and periodically update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Align procedures with evolving risks, regulatory requirements, and business needs.
- Ensure global procedural synchronization and version control.
- Training & Professional Development: Design and implement structured training programs for SOC operators and shift managers.
- Develop competency frameworks and certification standards.
- Deliver professional training sessions and workshops.
- Provide ongoing professional guidance and mentoring to SOC Managers globally.
- Operational Oversight & Quality Assurance: Conduct operational audits and performance reviews across sites.
- Plan and execute drills, simulations, and readiness exercises.
- Evaluate operational maturity and response capability.
- Implement corrective actions and continuous improvement plans.
- Incident Management & Investigation: Lead or supervise investigations of significant or complex incidents.
- Conduct After-Action Reviews (AAR) and Lessons Learned processes.
- Implement procedural and structural improvements based on findings.
- Report trends, risk insights, and systemic vulnerabilities to senior management.
- Proven experience managing Security Operations Centers (SOC) or Command & Control environments.
- Strong background in operational governance, planning, and organizational design.
- Demonstrated experience in writing operational doctrine and SOPs.
- Experience in training development and delivery.
- Experience conducting investigations and operational reviews.
- Experience operating in a global, multi-site environment.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
