About the Role

We seek a digital‑savvy freelance Project Manager with Community Management experience to own strategic relationships and steer campaigns across creativity, social, digital, and technology. This is a 2‑month contract. You’ll manage the day‑to‑day of social campaigns, lead cross‑functional teams, and ensure profitable, high‑quality delivery from concept through execution. You’ll partner with internal teams to drive growth, optimise performance, and maintain long‑term partnerships.

You’ll be the voice and heartbeat of the client’s brand across digital platforms, ensuring their community feels heard, engaged, and inspired. You will be responsible for creating, improving, and maintaining content that hits business goals while delivering a positive, seamless customer experience. We are looking for someone passionate about seeking new opportunities to create impactful work. Our ideal candidate is creative, with a deep understanding of social media trends, brand consistency, and the art of online engagement. Responsibilities
  • Act as the senior operational lead for a large tech client, set milestones, and conduct regular reviews.
  • Lead cross‑functional teams (Creative, Strategy, Media, Data, Tech) to deliver content that meets goals and timelines.
  • Translate brand goals into actionable roadmaps; provide strategic recommendations and measurable performance insights.
  • Ensure high‑quality client communications, risk management, and issue resolution; manage escalations confidently.
  • Maintain strong partnerships, ensuring satisfaction and long‑term growth.
  • Monitor campaign performance analytics; derive insights and guide optimisation and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with contracts, approvals, and agency policies; uphold quality standards across work.
  • Post and manage content across various social media platforms to maintain a vibrant online presence.
  • Moderate and engage with the community, responding to users in a timely and helpful manner.
  • Create and oversee engaging social media content that resonates with our audience.
  • Edit and proofread posts to improve quality and ensure the brand’s voice is consistent.
  • Draft and translate copy into the local language, creating compelling messaging from scratch when needed.
  • Optimise content style to ensure maximum reach and engagement on every platform.
  • Collaborate with the data team to find insights and with content managers to develop fresh, local ideas.
  • Collaborate with our Strategy team to identify local trends that offer unique opportunities for the brand to join the conversation.
  • Share feedback from the community with management and stakeholders to help shape future strategies.
  • Develop and foster a collaborative culture with internal teams and clients.
About You

The essentials:

  • 5+ years of account / project management experience in digital advertising, marketing, or related agencies; proven ability handling high‑value, high‑volume interdisciplinary work.
  • Demonstrated success managing large‑scale, multi‑channel campaigns (social, display, video, search) and delivering on objectives.
  • Strong leadership and relationship‑building skills; ability to present to senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational skills, budget literacy, and comfort with Excel/Google Sheets for forecasts and reporting.
  • Strategic thinker with a data‑driven mindset; able to turn insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Clear, confident communicator with excellence in written and verbal presentation; adept at facilitating workshops and senior meetings.
  • Proven track record as a Community Manager or in a similar social‑focused role.
  • Professional experience writing and editing copy that hooks an audience.
  • Must be a Dutch native and based in NL.
  • Ability to identify and track relevant community KPIs to measure success.
  • Hands‑on experience with social media management tools and best practices.
  • Critical thinker with great attention to detail and a “can‑do” attitude.
  • Strong time‑management skills and the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Team player with excellent presentation and verbal communication skills.
