Associate Creative Director Art Director
About the RoleThe Associate Creative Director Art Director is one of the key leaders within a creative team and is responsible for leading the creative vision and execution of advertising and marketing projects, while also playing a key role in the development and management of projects and upkeep the brand identity and marketing strategies for clients. This position requires a high level of conceptual and strategic skills, as well as excellent management and leadership abilities.
Responsibilities- Lead the ideation and for advertising and experiential projects, from concept through execution.
- Translate big ideas into distinctive visual systems that work across campaigns, content, digital, and brand touchpoints.
- Define and elevate the visual language of work through typography, color, composition, photography, motion, interaction, and design.
- Art‑direct photoshoots, film shoots, interactive experiences, and content productions from pre‑production through final delivery.
- Partner closely with developers, engineers, and technologists to bring creative ideas to life across digital products, platforms, and emerging media.
- Champion experimentation with new tools, formats, and technologies — including interactive, real‑time, AI‑assisted, and data‑driven creativity.
- Create and refine storyboards, mood boards, style frames, prototypes, and visual decks that sell ideas internally and to clients.
- Collaborate with ECDs, CDs, Strategy, Account, Production, and Technology teams to balance creative ambition with feasibility, timelines, and budgets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and account teams to drive successful project outcomes.
- Provide creative input to clients and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle, with a point of view on craft, innovation and technology.
- Stay current on cultural, design, and technology trends — and proactively integrate them into the creative process.
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in advertising and marketing.
- Strong background in Art‑Direction.
- Excellent conceptual and strategic skills, with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of projects.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client and internal relationships.
Salary Range: $110,000 — $140,000 CAD

If you reside within a commutable distance of one of our office locations, you will be expected to work from the office a set number of days per week.
