In your role as Sales Controller, you will work closely with the Sales Manager, with whom you are jointly responsible for project offers and service contracts. The main areas of focus include legal terms and conditions, cost calculations, and compliance with the internal control framework. In this role, you will also be in direct contact with customers regarding ongoing matters and negotiations during the offer phase, in collaboration with your sales colleagues. You will collaborate both nationally and within the Southwest Europe subregion. In addition, you will be part of a global financial community striving for financial excellence.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • You are responsible for opportunities/offers/quotations within your area of responsibility, including commercial, contractual, tax, and legal regulations in accordance with Siemens Energy’s internal guidelines.
  • Supporting the sales team in the bidding process (including credit checks and cost calculations).
  • Contract management, including risk and claim management.
  • Collaboration within cross-border, cross-functional teams.
  • Providing legal and financial support and advice at every project phase.
  • Handling logistics, tax, warranty, and insurance matters.
  • Responsible for the legal and commercial terms of offers and contracts with customers, attending contract negotiations, and maintaining relationships with the sales team at regional and global levels.
  • Preparing monthly reports in line with requirements.
What You Bring
  • A completed higher professional education (HBO) degree in Business Economics, Business Administration, or a related economic field, or equivalent experience and level of thinking.
  • Strong communication skills with project members (nationally and internationally).
  • At least 3 years of work experience in a similar position.
  • Experience with project controlling and contract management is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of IT systems such as SAP and MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Strong communication skills and good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
  • Team-oriented mindset and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional and cross-regional teams.
