Senior AI Strategy Consultant

Xebia Data is one of the divisions of Xebia Netherlands, renowned for its expertise building strong Data & AI practices to deliver value to our clients and their customers. We help our clients to build, scale and embed their data and AI capabilities. You will join the Xebia Data Strategy team, guiding clients through their AI maturity journey.

Our team defines data strategies, uncovers and refines use cases, reorganizes and leads high-performing data teams, and trains C-level leaders at large corporations. You will work on projects of varying length—from three weeks to one year—each unique to the client. Projects involve the client in mixed teams of Xebians and client staff.

• Co-create Data & AI strategies with client leadership.
• Secure sponsorship and alignment across business and tech stakeholders.
• Translate strategy into roadmaps and orchestrate execution across multiple teams and vendors.
• Ensure governance, compliance, and long-term sustainability are embedded in delivery.
• Act as the trusted advisor who stays close to outcomes, not just slides.
• Work hand-in-hand with our scientists, engineers, and consultants to ensure delivery is anchored in strategy.

• You have proven consulting or leadership experience in the data/AI domain.
• You feel at ease in the boardroom and can manage C-level stakeholders with confidence.
• You can connect the dots across strategy, governance, and execution.
• You enjoy shaping and expanding the Xebia Data Strategy & Execution proposition.
• You speak Dutch at a professional level.

• You primarily want to code as a data scientist or engineer.
• You lack experience in advanced analytics, machine learning, or data strategy.
• You shy away from leading complex, multi-stakeholder programs.
• You prefer detailed instructions instead of shaping your own path.
