You help ABN AMRO stay within its risk appetite by shaping how the bank understands and manages non‑financial risks. As a senior advisor in the SIRA non‑Client Integrity team, you lead the full SIRA cycle and translate complex risk insights into clear, data‑driven advice for decision‑makers. You work across countries, client units and functions, challenge the first line constructively, and strengthen the link between risk appetite, controls and real‑world risk events. Your work directly supports executive decisions and safeguards the bank’s integrity.
Your jobYou manage and drive the end‑to‑end SIRA process for non‑Client Integrity risks. You analyse risk data, challenge assumptions, and turn insights into clear risk narratives that support strategic decisions. You work closely with the first and second line to align priorities, close control gaps and strengthen risk awareness across the bank.
Additional responsibilities:
- Execute the bank‑wide Core Compliance SIRA and periodic updates
- Prepare SIRA assessments, reports and mitigation actions for client units and functions
- Connect SIRA outcomes to risk appetite, controls and dashboards
- Maintain and develop the non‑financial risk event library
- Strengthen data quality, scoring models and materiality thresholds
You join a newly established, central SIRA non‑Client Integrity team within Compliance. The team brings together experienced risk and compliance specialists from across the bank and plays a key role in shaping how ABN AMRO manages non‑financial risks at group level.
You report to the Lead Core Compliance SIRA Execution and work closely with colleagues in Compliance & SIM Oversight & Control, the FCC SIRA Execution team, and stakeholders across client units, functions, countries and subsidiaries. The environment is professional and content‑driven, with a strong focus on collaboration, analytical depth and constructive challenge. You typically work in a hybrid set‑up, with time spent both at the office and working remotely.
Your profileYou feel comfortable operating as a senior advisor in a complex organisation. You communicate clearly, listen well and know how to challenge others with respect and empathy. You keep overview in complex discussions, connect people and perspectives, and translate data into stories that support decisions. You work independently, take ownership, and stay focused on impact rather than procedure.

- Strong knowledge of SIRA or similar risk assessment processes
- Solid understanding of the three lines of defence
- Experience advising senior stakeholders
- Comfort with data‑driven analyses and risk narratives
