The Lead Information Management is responsible for leading the Information Management team, including taking responsibility for developing, innovating and safeguarding knowledge within the team. The focus is on enhancing process effectiveness through a data-driven mindset, which can ultimately lead to improved efficiency as well as greater satisfaction for both customers and employees. Additionally, the power of analytics must be used to make sure procurement teams can work with required and relevant information for data driven decision-making.
Your responsibilities Operations and Analytics- Manage senior stakeholders from other teams, including overseeing how the Supply Chain & Information Management team monitors/analyses stakeholder feedback and identifies key improvement areas and ensure they act on these insights.
- Guide the team in creating relevant data and analytics and support the identification and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Support the procurement team by providing analytical insights to help them develop their category strategy, sourcing strategy, and supplier segmentation model.
- Act as the primary liaison with IT and Data teams for all data and analytics requirements from procurement.
- Support generation of analytics, metrics and mechanisms to monitor and measure supplier performance and success, including assessing opportunities for supplier and market innovation trends.
- Manage the review of vendor master data to ensure its accuracy and completeness. Ensure that the team adheres to best practices in data management.
- Drive continuous process improvements across procurement functions. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency within the team.
- Work closely with Procurement operations to secure back-office efficiency and improvements. Ensure that the team aligns with operational goals and objectives.
- Analyse data to identify trends and assess risks, which involves interpreting complex information and making informed decisions.
- Work with ING stakeholders from other departments to advice, set and support the development of procurement related standards to drive efficiency, automation and high data quality.
- Lead the onshore and nearshore Information Management team, including providing functional management to the hub teams so they can support the business in case they have questions regarding data, reporting or process improvements.
- Focus on defining and managing strategies, setting and monitoring team objectives/KPIs and drive improvement initiatives.
- Take responsibility for developing and safeguarding knowledge within the team.
Collaborate closely with multiple Subject Matter Experts, including global and local procurement teams, to identify and leverage procurement category opportunities while ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. This role is pivotal in not only developing capabilities aligned with global strategic direction but also embedding their effective adoption and consistent application across all locations.

Furthermore, you have:
- 10+ years in Procurement (Operations) area, preferably at a strategic level in an international (financial services provider) organisation
- 6+ years experience in managing hierarchical line direct reports or actively coaching functional procurement colleagues
- Procurement Operations knowledge/experience.
- Experience working with offshore teams.
- Analytical and data science skills
- Quality and process orientation, ideally process improvement skillset such as LEAN methodologies
